Getting there.
An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Taxis into Florence city centre cost approximately 15 EUR-16 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. Taxis to Grand Hotel and La Pace cost approximately 100 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around.
Montecatini Terme is compact and easily explored by foot. Trains connect the city with the rest of Italy, including Florence and Pisa, which can be reached in an hour and a half by train. Tickets cost approximately 3.30 EUR each way. The city has an extensive bus network operating within the centre. A car is useful for getting to the harder to reach villages of the Tuscan region.

Take Highway A11 in the direction of Pisa/Lucca.
After 39 kilometres, at the Montecatini Terme exit, head towards the centre of the city (straight ahead).
