Surrounded by pine and cork oak trees, Relais Delle Picchiaie is a secluded 19th century villa set on a hilltop on the Isle of Elba, overlooking the Gulf of Portoferraio. Driving Directions :
The hotel provides an airport shuttle service and taxis are available outside the terminal. Taxi fares to the hotel cost around 45 EUR. Portoferraio is small and easily explored on foot, and bicycles are available to rent at the hotel. Hire cars are recommended for travelling further afield. When driving from the hotel, turn right out of the airport and follow directions to 'Portoferraio'. After approximately 15 kilometres, turn right at the roundabout and follow directions to 'Porto Azzurro'.
