Orovacanze Club Ortano Mare is located in Rio Marina on the island of Elba in Italy, four kilometres from central Rio Marina and 10 kilometres from central Porto Azzurro. Piombino train station is located 40 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features.
Orovacanze Club Ortano Mare is set on a private beach between two hills rich in Mediterranean vegetation. Each building in the complex is built like an Italian villa in a rusty reddish colour. Guests can access beach and recreational activities by purchasing a club card. Amenities include three outdoor swimming pools, childcare activities and a beach service with sun umbrellas and sun beds.
Internet access is available in public areas for a surcharge.
A separate swimming pool for children and a mini-club for children aged 3-6 years is available at the hotel. There are four tennis courts, a basketball court, canoes and windsurfing available. From the 31st May to the 13th Sept 2008, guests are required to purchase a Club Card for access to child club activities, beach services, recreational and sports activities. The Club Card costs €30 per person (over two years old) per week. All prices and dates are subject to change.
Residence Fee
For guests of the Residence Room, a €30 per person per week fee is payable for utilities at check-in, as well as a deposit of €150 per room per stay. This deposit is returned to the clients at the end of the week.

Getting there.
A bus transfer or taxi is the best way to get to Orovacanze Club Ortano Mare. Alternatively, take a taxi into Piombino city centre and take the ferry service or the faster hydrofoil or hydrojet to the island of Elba.
Getting around.
A car is useful for getting between the small villages on the island of Elba.
Driving directions.
From Pisa, head in direction of Piombino and take the Ferry Boat to Porto Azzurro.
From Porto Azzurro, take the road to Rio Marina and stop at Ortano Mare.
