Location. Boutique Hotel Warwick House is in Nelson, an energetic community at the southwest corner of New Zealand's South Island. It is 700 meters from Queens Gardens and the Suter Gallery and four kilometers from Tahunanui Beach. Hotel Features. Built in 1854, Boutique Hotel Warwick House is a historic Victorian turreted castle. The structure was extended in the late 1870s to include three towers, a spiral staircase and a ballroom. It first commercially operated as a boarding house for men in the 1890s. Hotel grounds include gardens with hidden pathways and peacocks. Also, the hotel houses a very friendly Labrador Retriever that enjoys taking guests for walks. Complimentary Continental breakfasts are served in the ballroom or in guestrooms.
