Description
The Balaia Golf Village is a complex of 506 low-rise, self-catering apartments and villas set in throughout extensive landscaped gardens and mature parkland. It is located between Albufeira and Vilamoura in central Algarve, just 300 metres from the nearest beach. Apartments feature neutral décor with modern furniture, and benefit from balconies and cable television. Each property has a living room with satellite TV and a fully equipped kitchen; superior apartments also include dishwashers and washing machines. Guests can dine al fresco in Restaurante A Varanda which offers international and Portuguese cuisine with fish and seafood specialities. Alternatively snacks and light meals can be enjoyed at Restaurante Le Club with its large terrace and views over the golf course to the sea in the distance. There are six swimming pools, including a children's pool and two outdoor pools which are heated in winter, as well as four tennis courts with a resident pro. Guests can use the gym at the health club, swim in its indoor pool, and relax in the hot tub, Turkish bath and massage room. There is a hair salon on site, as well as a supermarket, newsagents and gift shop. The front desk is open 24-hours a day. Golfers can make use of the 9-hole golf course, driving range and putting greens, as well as receive professional coaching at the Golf Academy. Vilamoura is 10 kilometres from the complex and sightseers can enjoy a trip to Silves, 30 kilometres away, the once-Arab Capital of the Algarve, with a castle and cathedral to explore. Driving Directions :
Transfer from the airport to the hotel by minibus can be arranged with hotel reception for 1 to 4 people for 27.50 EUR. Taxis are available at airport and should cost approximately 45 EUR. Driving directions: From Faro Airport head north by bearing right towards Faro and joining the EN125. After several kilometres, the right hand lane forks onto a flyover signposted Almancil. Take this road and continue for approximately 14 kilometres to reach a crossroad with traffic lights. Continue ahead for approximately 5 kilometres until passing a shop called Arquiban on the left hand side. Take the next left hand turn just before the bridge where Balaia is signposted in yellow. At the first roundabout turn left following the sign for Olhos de Água. Continue straight on and after passing an AGIP petrol station on the left hand side take the second right into the Balaia Golf Village complex.Room Information :
