Location.
The Hotel Real D'Odidos is located in Obidos, Portugal. Obidos is a pretty mediaeval town of whitewashed houses enclosed in fortified walls, which lies five kilometres from the sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast, six kilometres from the spa town of Caldas da Rainha, and 75 kilometres north of the capital, Lisbon.

Getting there.
Number 91 Aerobus shuttle travels between the airport, the city centre, and the Cais do Sodré train station every 20 minutes. Tickets are available on board, and cost 3.10 EUR for all-day travel or 2 EUR for a single. From here trains depart for Obidos railway station. Taxis line up outside Arrivals, and cost around 95 EUR to the hotel. Passengers have to pay extra for luggage, and there is a 20 percent surcharge at night. Prices subject to change.
Getting around. The town of Obidos, the nearby coast, and countryside can easily be negotiated on foot or by bicycle; although there are public transport connections, a car is recommended for visiting other towns and travelling around the wider region.
