The Grand Hotel Bernardin is located on the Adriatic Sea in the town of Portoroz, Slovenia, adjacent to its own private beach and within 500 metres of the town centre.

From Trieste Airport (TRS):
Distance to the Grand Hotel Bernardin is 75 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
The number 55 bus runs to Trieste city centre where buses running to Portoroz are available. The number 10 bus runs every 20 minutes from the airport to Monfalcone train station. Single tickets cost 1 EUR. Taxis are available between 8 a.m. and midnight, and cost about 120 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around.
Portoroz can easily be explored on foot. Good bus services link the towns throughout Croatia and Slovenia. A car is useful for exploring further afield.
Driving directions.
From the airport, follow the motorway to Trieste.
In Trieste, take the road for Koper/Capodistria.
Cross the border at Rabuiese/Spondnje Skofije and continue through Koper and Izola.
At Portoroz, turn right towards Piran, then left for Bernardin.
